Gerold "Jerry" Drosky, a 20-year-old from Oviedo, Florida, tragically lost his life on March 21, 2009, during a spring break trip to Daytona Beach. Drosky was staying at the Ocean Sands Hotel with friends when they were approached multiple times by a drug dealer offering pills. The group consistently declined the offers.
