Pierre Jacques Dervil, a 34-year-old black male, was tragically shot to death on January 4, 2014, in Cape Coral, Florida. The incident occurred early in the morning outside his residence at 4021 S.E. 12th Avenue. Responding to a report of shots fired, Cape Coral police found Dervil with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot of a small apartment building. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The police quickly secured the area, established a perimeter, and began an extensive investigation.
