Keimouria Gardner, a 17-year-old African American girl, tragically lost her life on March 19, 2014, in Miami, Florida. Keimouria was an innocent bystander when she was struck by a stray bullet while sitting on a bench at Soar Park Teen Center in Northwest Miami-Dade. The incident occurred around 6:30 PM, and she was one of three people shot during the drive-by shooting. Keimouria was immediately taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a few days later.
