Brandon Daniel Peters, a 29-year-old male from Jacksonville, FL, died on May 2, 2014, as a result of a police shooting. The incident occurred at 8810 Doe Lane when Officer Steven Brown responded to a call regarding a stabbing. Upon arrival, Officer Brown encountered Peters, who was suspected of the stabbing. According to reports, Peters immediately attacked Officer Brown with a knife, prompting the officer to fire two rounds from his rifle, resulting in Peters' death.
