On July 14, 2014, Harold Breion Long, a 19-year-old, was found murdered in the backyard of a residence on Cypress Landing Drive in the Mayport area of Jacksonville, Florida. According to reports, neighbors heard gunshots that night, which prompted the police response that led to the discovery of Long's body. Despite ongoing efforts by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the case remains unsolved.
