On April 22, 2015, 27-year-old Paul Gillins was shot and killed while sitting in his car in the parking lot of a McDonald's on Cassat Avenue in Jacksonville, Florida. Gillins was identified as a member of the Cutthroat Committee Gang, and the incident is believed to be gang-related, involving retaliatory violence between multiple gangs active in Jacksonville.
