Sophia Medina-Navas, a 6-year-old girl from Fort Myers, Florida, tragically lost her life on June 8, 2014. Sophia, along with her mother Maria Navas, 29, and her two sisters, Allison Navas, 10, and Mia Medina-Navas, 2, were victims of a horrific murder-suicide. The perpetrator, Sonny Enrique Medina, 36, who was a Salvation Army employee and lived with Maria Navas, carried out the killings before turning the gun on himself.
