In the evening hours of a spring day in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of 17-year-old Phillip Eugene Ward was tragically cut short. On April 12, 2021, at approximately 7:29 p.m., he was fatally shot in the 2600 block of North 39th Street.
Responding to the incident, Milwaukee Police found the young man with a gunshot wound to his head. Despite any efforts to save him, he was pronounced deceased at the scene of the shooting.
