Calvin Eford, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on the night of November 17, 2014, in Opa-locka, Florida. The incident occurred shortly before midnight in the 2300 block of Atlantic Avenue. According to reports, officers responded to a "shots fired" call and found Calvin Eford suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
