Jamar Hammonds, a 48-year-old African American man, tragically lost his life on February 2, 2021, in Opa-locka, Florida. Hammonds, a father of three, was visiting his sister after learning she had been diagnosed with cancer. He was there to offer her comfort and support during this difficult time.
