Keith Lee Sterling, a 36-year-old resident of Jacksonville, Florida, was tragically killed on December 9, 2014. Sterling was visiting a friend in the 3900 block of South Lane Avenue when the incident occurred. According to reports, a man drove up to the location and an altercation ensued, leading to Sterling being fatally shot. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
