Delvontaye Ricquel Boyd, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 28, 2015, in Ocala, Florida. Boyd was shot twice in the head in the kitchen of his apartment at Laurel Park Apartments, where he lived with his pregnant girlfriend and their 1-year-old son. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., and it was later revealed that Boyd was involved in selling marijuana from his apartment to earn extra money.
