Heather Rasumoff, a 44-year-old woman from Ormond Beach, FL, was found dead on May 17, 2015. Her death was a tragic result of a murder-suicide involving her boyfriend, Gary Smith, a 56-year-old financial advisor. Heather, who was a mother of three, was discovered in her bed with a single gunshot wound to the face. Smith was found on the floor of the bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head, and a small handgun was located near his body.
