On June 27, 2015, a tragic incident occurred in Greenacres, Florida, resulting in the death of 2-year-old Sofia Chiddo. The young girl was one of the victims in a murder-suicide carried out by her grandmother, Nilda Sheffield. Sheffield, aged 53, also killed her 30-year-old daughter, Elizabeth Flores, and her 7-year-old grandson, Xavier Neff, before taking her own life. The bodies were discovered by a family friend who had gone to check on their well-being.
