On September 7, 2015, Faares Yousef, a 17-year-old high school senior, was tragically shot to death along with his older brother, Khasem Yousef, at their family's convenience store, Snappy's Mart, in Palmetto, Florida. The brothers were working at the store when a gunman entered, ostensibly to make a purchase, but instead shot them both in the head execution-style.
