In the fall of 2014, the vibrant Fells Point neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland, was shaken by the untimely death of Claudia Parodi, a 40-year-old woman originally from Peru. A beloved and popular server at the local restaurant Pazo, her sudden absence from work prompted a concerned coworker to raise the alarm.
