Tamar Harris, a 15-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 29, 2016, in East Altamonte, Florida. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. while Tamar was riding in a vehicle traveling north on Central Street. According to reports, an armed individual standing in the roadway began firing at the vehicle. Tamar was struck by the gunfire, causing the vehicle to crash into a nearby light pole.
