Shamoy Elijah Eddy, a 24-year-old man from Fort Lauderdale, FL, was fatally shot on April 12, 2016. The incident occurred early in the morning, around 4:53 a.m., when Fort Lauderdale police responded to calls about a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Shamoy Elijah Eddy with gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Shamoy Elijah Eddy was a young African American man whose untimely death shocked the local community.
