Ronald Harvey Simms, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically found shot to death on June 7, 2016, in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office identified Simms as the victim after he was discovered in a parked car on Haverford Road at Dunn Avenue. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, with police considering the possibility of a drive-by shooting or that Simms had driven to the location after being shot elsewhere.
