Godson Jean-Baptiste, a 26-year-old resident of Belle Glade, Florida, was tragically shot and killed on July 27, 2010. His body was discovered in front of Hall's Grocery Store on Southwest Fifth Street. The incident occurred around 12:49 am when deputies responded to a call about a man down. Upon arrival, they found Jean-Baptiste lying on the sidewalk, deceased from gunshot wounds.
