Javon Norel Woodson, a 39-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on July 2, 2016, in Belle Glade, Florida. The incident occurred near Southwest Avenue C and Southwest Sixth Street, where Woodson and Glover Lee Williams, a 29-year-old African American man, engaged in an argument over property that Williams claimed Woodson had taken and not returned.
