Mickel Elijha Burrell-Baker, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 9, 2021, in Belle Glade, Florida. Mickel was fatally shot in front of a home on Southwest Avenue H. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. when Mickel stepped out of the house and into the front yard, where he overheard an argument between two men.
