Jean Cenat, a 22-year-old resident of Miami Gardens, Florida, was tragically found dead on August 29, 2016. His body was discovered in Vista Verde Park, located on Northwest 39th Avenue, with multiple gunshot wounds. The investigation revealed that Cenat had arranged to meet Shuneice Thomas, a 21-year-old woman, through social media. Unbeknownst to Cenat, Thomas had lured him to the park with the intention of having him robbed. This meeting turned fatal when Cenat was shot multiple times.
