On December 11, 2016, 28-year-old Oliver Portieles, a Hispanic male, was tragically shot and killed in Miami Gardens, Florida. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM while Portieles was sitting in a car with 16-year-old Janet Francois, an African American female.
