On the night of October 12, 2016, a tragic domestic dispute in Miami, Florida, led to the death of 45-year-old Yunia Gomez. Miami-Dade Police responded to a call at a residence on NW 99th Street, where they discovered Yunia Gomez deceased from a gunshot wound. Her 19-year-old daughter, Eryka Jimenez, was also found critically injured from a gunshot wound but survived the incident. The alleged perpetrator, 41-year-old Jairo Ramon-Mejia, who was Yunia Gomez's boyfriend, attempted to commit suicide ...
