Michael Jean-Charles, a 21-year-old resident of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, tragically lost his life on January 11, 2017, following a violent altercation that escalated into a fatal shooting. The incident occurred in Oakland Park, near Northwest Eighth Terrace, just after 8 p.m. on January 10, 2017.
