Devonte Bryant, a 22-year-old resident of South Bay, Florida, tragically lost his life on April 16, 2017. The incident occurred during an Easter celebration at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Park in Pahokee. Hundreds of people were gathered at the park when shots were fired into the crowd. Devonte Bryant was struck by the gunfire and later succumbed to his injuries at St. Mary's Medical Center.
