Anthony Martin, a 34-year-old Black male, was fatally shot outside a nightclub in Pahokee, Florida, on January 21, 2018. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning near Ivy Lane and South Lake Avenue. According to witnesses, Taraus McKinley, a 30-year-old man, had been waiting outside the club for Martin to exit. When Martin did, McKinley shot him multiple times. Friends of Martin transported him to Lakeside Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
