On November 2, 2018, Jarvis Smith, a 32-year-old resident of Pahokee, Florida, tragically lost his life. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Royal Palm Court, where Smith was fatally shot by his cousin, Lee Edward Jones. The altercation between the two relatives reportedly stemmed from a dispute over Jones' dog.
