Breanna Perez, a 38-year-old woman from Fort Myers, FL, was found dead on September 25, 2017, at the Channelside Apartments complex. Her death was initially classified as a homicide by the Lee County Sheriff's Office. Breanna Perez, who had recently moved to Fort Myers from Southwest Ranches, was discovered alongside her husband, John Perez, and their three dogs, all of whom were also deceased.
