Jamal Frederick, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2017, in Boynton Beach, Florida. The incident occurred at his grandmother's home, where he and his older brother, Malcolm Frederick, were fatally shot. The brothers were confronted by Joseph Bruny, a 28-year-old man who claimed he went to their home to collect a $700 drug debt for marijuana he had previously given them.
