Silas Ervin, a 30-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on April 1, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred during an Easter Sunday party at The Party Spot, a venue in Northwest Jacksonville. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 8:46 p.m. on the 3000 block of Dunn Avenue.
