Danica Odoms, a 38-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on June 2, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred following a heated argument over money. Danica was found shot multiple times near West 13th and Janette streets in Northwest Jacksonville. Despite being rushed to UF Health Jacksonville, she succumbed to her injuries.
