On June 19, 2018, Melissa Vayda-Henry, aged 46, was found dead in her home in Daytona Beach, Florida, alongside 55-year-old Thomas Pulcrano. The police discovered their bodies during a well-being check requested by concerned acquaintances. Both individuals were found lying on a bed with gunshot wounds to their heads. Pulcrano was found holding a semi-automatic handgun, leading authorities to conclude that the incident was an apparent murder-suicide.
