Richard Javier, a 35-year-old resident of Longwood, Florida, tragically lost his life on July 14, 2018, in a fatal shooting incident. The Longwood Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the area of SR 434 and Powell Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the shooting had occurred during an illicit drug transaction.
