In the quiet city of Medford, Oregon, a tragedy unfolded on January 15, 2022, that cut short the life of Adriana Paulina Mendoza Lopez, a 39-year-old Hispanic female. Her death, which occurred under violent circumstances, prompted an immediate investigation by local law enforcement.
The Medford Police Department identified Cristian Lamberto Barboza-Valerio, 21 years old, as the suspect in her death.
Further investigation revealed a familial connection between the two; Barboza-Valerio is Mendoza Lopez's step-son. Authorities launched a search for the suspect, who was described as being 5'6" tall and weighing 180 pounds.
In the days following the incident, law enforcement agencies released additional photographs of Barboza-Valerio to the public in an effort to gather information leading to his whereabouts.
