Tavares Phillips, a 28-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on August 6, 2018, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The incident occurred in Tamarac, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale, where Phillips was fatally shot by Ryan Inmon, the father of Phillips' stepchildren.
