Andrea Washington, a 37-year-old Navy Chief Petty Officer and mother of three, was tragically murdered on September 17, 2018, in her home in Jacksonville, Florida. Washington had a tumultuous relationship with her ex-fiancé, Danny Ray Beard, who had a history of abusive behavior towards her. Just eleven days before her death, Washington had filed a restraining order against Beard, citing a violent assault that occurred on September 2, 2018.
