Malik Oliver, a 19-year-old African American male from Saint Petersburg, Florida, tragically lost his life on September 30, 2018. Malik was shot in an alley off 13th Avenue South near Martin Luther King Jr. Street South. He was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and the suspect fled the scene in a white Ford Fusion, which was later found burned at 1850 Juarez Way South. The vehicle was reported stolen from Orange County, Florida.
