Nekechena Phillips, a 27-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on December 21, 2018, in Jacksonville, Florida. The incident occurred when she returned home in the afternoon and was confronted by her boyfriend, Eric Lamar Jackson. According to reports, Jackson had entered the home and was hiding, waiting for Phillips to return.
