Alex Correa, a 20-year-old from Orlando, Florida, tragically lost his life on January 14, 2019, during a violent home invasion. Correa was at his residence on Port Simbor Avenue when a group of individuals forcibly entered his home, mistakenly believing it to be a marijuana grow house. The intruders, armed and intent on robbery, were met with resistance from Correa, who attempted to defend himself and others in the home with a knife.
