Peter Ommy Gonzalez Cruz, a 22-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2016, in Orlando, Florida. Peter was one of the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, a horrific event that claimed the lives of 49 individuals and injured many others. The attack was carried out by Omar Mateen, who opened fire inside the nightclub, targeting the LGBTQ+ community.
