Juan Pablo Rivera Velázquez, a 37-year-old Puerto Rican male, tragically lost his life on June 12, 2016, during the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida. Rivera Velázquez was a talented makeup artist and hairstylist who co-owned Alta Peluquería D'Magazine Salon in Kissimmee with his partner of 16 years, Luis Daniel Conde.
