Markel Benson, aged 20, was tragically murdered on October 12, 2015, in Baltimore, Maryland. The incident occurred after an armed robbery organized by a group of individuals who targeted Benson, who was known to be selling marijuana near the 2300 block of W. North Avenue. The group, including James Dorsey, Ameer Baker, Keyon Hawkins, and a juvenile, planned to rob Benson.
