On the evening of May 25, 2019, 27-year-old Alexis Marie Somerford was found deceased in a back bedroom of her residence at 85 Farragut Drive in Palm Coast, Florida. She had sustained a gunshot wound to the head, with a rifle discovered nearby. Initial reports from the Flagler County Sheriff's Office suggested the incident was a suicide.
