Me'Arri M. Melton, a 19-year-old from Saint Petersburg, Florida, tragically lost his life on May 31, 2019. Melton was critically injured in a shooting that occurred just before 8:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of 20th Avenue South. Despite his injuries, he managed to reach a nearby home where paramedics were called. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries overnight.
