Ja’Cari Corey Ellis, a 5-year-old boy from Saint Petersburg, Florida, tragically passed away on May 9, 2020. According to reports, Ja’Cari accidentally shot himself in the afternoon at his home located at 3788 18th Terrace S. The incident occurred around 2:30 p.m., and when officers arrived, they found Ja’Cari suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to All Children’s Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
