Shawn Robbins, a 27-year-old African American man from Cocoa, Florida, was tragically shot to death on June 2, 2019, inside a Walmart located on East Merritt Island Causeway in Merritt Island, Florida. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. and was the result of a confrontation between Robbins and Rashad Gibson, a 27-year-old African American man who was employed at the Walmart.
