In the autumn of 2015, the life of a young Baltimore man was tragically cut short, leaving a family to grapple with his sudden and violent death. Maurice Swilling, a 24-year-old African American male, was killed on October 21, 2015. His body was discovered at the Executive Inn on Pulaski Highway, where he had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
