Lovely Mathurin, a 23-year-old woman from Delray Beach, FL, tragically lost her life on October 8, 2019, in a murder-suicide incident. Mathurin, who was of Haitian descent, was fatally shot by her 30-year-old boyfriend, Yves Romain. The incident occurred at their apartment in the Village at Delray complex. Romain, who was a Lyft driver, called 911 on the morning of the incident and confessed to shooting Mathurin before turning the gun on himself. The couple's 10-month-old son was found unharmed
